A new church year, old & new friends!

Our youngest congregants spend time getting used to the new classrooms, their new routines and making friends.

The first potluck competed with the 100,000 airplane drop but the food still was great.

Teddy Bears Teddy Bears

Houses / Beds / Friends --- How can we take care of our little Teddy Bear friends?? What if someone gets sick? Gets lost ? Has a party ?

Our 3 year olds are exploring their world through the eyes of Teddy Bears.

Families are the topic for the Pre-K room. We all have a family, they might not look the same. Some families consists of grandma and child; two dads; two moms; one mom and one dad; lots of siblings; no siblings; a big fancy house; a small apartment --- there are many different ways to be a family. We will explore our own and others.

The Kindergarten classroom started to talk about Hinduism and decorated their 'Paper Friend'. We will look at stories, make crafts and cook something yummy. Come join us!!

Nursery:

It was soooo quiet in the room at first....... all we could hear were little giggles and they got louder and louder. The smallest congregants had a wonderful 'giggly' time with their great helpers.

3 year olds and 4 year olds were very busy getting ready for Valentines Day. Lots of cards to make, picture frames to decorate and many stories to ready. Special Valentine pencils and cups were the treat of the day.

The Kindergarten children enjoyed the company of a practitioner of Buddhism and learned about the various artifacts he brought along. Thanks for the visit.
